What Puzzles Me

I've never given much thought as to what puzzles me about school or life. After thinking about it I guess I can say that bullies puzzle me. This puzzles me because it is such an issue allover the world. I don't understand how such a big thing can get such little attention. I don't think that schools or states give that much care into making sure that bullying stops.
I think there are many things that schools can do to stop bullying. I think there should maybe be a "See Something, Say Something" type of incentive to make students feel like they shouldn't be afraid to say something to a bully or inform a teacher that a student is being bullied. This incentive should be if they say something about someone being bullied they could get extra credit in a class. I think this will help stop bullying because most people are afraid to say something because they might think that they will be bullied too.
I think one thing I could do to help me understand this situation better is do a little research on it. There might be things that schools do to ensure there is no bullying that I don't know about. I think bullying is an important issue because every year so many children and teens are committing suicide because they are getting bullied. They feel like there is no way out and they feel like things will never get better. These children and teens need to know that there is always a safe place for them to go and the bullying can be stopped.
