One of the first research papers that I remember having to write was in elementary school. It was in the fifth grade. My research paper was on wild animals such as wolves, red pandas, and bobcats. These were the topics of my choice. Both my teacher and the librarian taught us how to research. They taught us how to look through and for books for our information and they taught us how to use the internet to find the information that we needed.
For my research paper I remember using both books and the internet to gather the information that I needed. I enjoyed the writing process because, at the time, I really wanted to be a veterinarian and I loved animals. It was interesting for me to learn about so many different kinds of animals. My favorite animals to research about were the bobcats and wolves.
I found this research project to be fun. I liked using the different sources to find my information. I used my school library for books on the different animals. The only part of the writing process that was tedious to me was the editing. There were many ways that my teacher thought I could improve some areas of my paper. I ended up getting a good grade on it.
