Research Paper

                    A research paper that I enjoyed writing was in my English class last year. Everyone was able to choose there topic out of a list of different topics. I chose to do my research paper on patriarchy in society. I did a lot of research for this essay and used about five different sources. One of the sources I used was the book that we were reading in class, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I enjoyed reading the book and it was perfect to use for my research paper.
                    I don't think that this research paper was hard but I didn't think it was easy either. I think that the worst part of the research paper was doing the actual research. We had to find reliable sources which meant they could not be from websites like Wikipedia which we aren't supposed to really be using for any type of work that we do. We had to find at least four reliable sources for our paper and it took me a while to find them. I was grateful that we were given one resource in class. The easier part of the research paper was writing it.
                    The research paper was sort of enjoyable for me because I was interested in researching about patriarchal societies. The only burden was the research aspect but other than that the paper wasn't too bad to write. I learned a lot of new things while I worked on this paper. I also feel like I became a better writer. I've done a lot of research papers and this one is my favorite.
